At about 2:30 AM on Saturday, May 27, 2017, the Boston Police responded to a report of a person shot at 66 Hudson Street, located two streets east of the Tufts University Health Science campus. The victim, who is non-Tufts affiliated, was injured and transported to a local healthcare facility for treatment. The subject fled in an unknown direction. A search of the area was conducted by Tufts University and the Boston Police with negative results. At this point, no suspect description is available. The Boston Police are actively investigating this incident.
While victims of crime are never to blame for criminal activity, there are some precautions that can be taken:
