Dear members of the Tufts University community,

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (the “Clery Act”), Tufts University is pleased to present the 2024 Tufts University Annual Security and Fire Safety Report.  An electronic copy of the report is available online here.

A printed copy of the report is also available at the Tufts University Department of Public Safety station on your campus or by contacting the Tufts University Department of Public Safety by telephone at 617‐627-3030 and email at Clery@tufts.edu.

The Clery Act requires colleges and universities to provide information regarding campus security and personal safety including topics such as crime prevention, fire safety, crime reporting procedures, emergency notification procedures, and other policies and matters of importance related to security and safety on campus.  The Clery Act requires colleges and universities to report crime statistics for the three previous calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus, in certain non‐campus buildings or property, and on public property within the campus or immediately adjacent to and accessible from campus.  The Act also requires the disclosure of fire statistics for on‐campus student housing facilities.

Please direct any questions about this report to the Tufts University Department of Public Safety.
