Snow Emergency Parking Ban declared for Medford/Somerville Campus
A Snow Emergency Parking Ban will be in effect tonight from 11:00 pm Tuesday, February 18, 2014 until 7:00 am Wednesday, February 19, 2014. During the ban, parking is prohibited on all university roadways as well as staff/faculty parking lots in order to facilitate snow removal. Faculty/staff on campus during the ban may park in the Dowling Garage. Students with a current green Resident or red Commuter decal are encouraged to park in the Lower Campus Garage or the Dowling Garage. Both garages are presently available for parking.
Vehicles with red Commuter permits that are parked in the Lower Campus Garage must be removed from that garage by 9:00 am Wednesday, February 19, 2014 . Additionally, vehicles with green Residential permits that are parked in the Dowling Garage must be removed from that garage by 9:00 am Wednesday, February 19, 2014.
The City of Medford’s Snow Emergency Parking Ban which was declared on Thursday (February 13th) remains in effect. The City of Somerville has not declared a Snow Emergency Parking Ban as of this time.
