At approximately 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday November 28, 2017, Tufts Police were informed of an incident that occurred in Evans Way Park.The incident involved 2 non-Tufts affiliates. The victims were assaulted and one of the victims was robbed of their back pack.
The victims described the suspects as follows: 5 African American males. The victims stated the suspects fled toward Ward Street. Boston Police along with MassArt Police and Wentworth Police conducted a search of the area with negative results.
While victims of crimes are never to blame for criminal activity, TUPD recommends the following risk reduction and safety precautions:
