On Sunday April 21, 2013 at approximately 9:25 PM two female students came into the Tufts University Police station located at 419 Boston Avenue to report an indecent exposure. The victims stated that the crime occurred on the sidewalk abutting the train tracks on Boston Avenue near the University Police Station.
On Thursday, February 21, at approximately 2:38 a.m., Tufts University Police received a call from a student living in private housing on Whitfield Rd. in Somerville, MA. The student stated, they awoke to a person leaving their room who then immediately exited the residence. The suspect fled out the front door onto Whitfield Road.
On Wednesday, January 23, at about 1:15 p.m., Tufts University Police received a call from a student victim living in private housing adjacent to campus on Boston Avenue in Medford. The student reported interrupting a burglary of the house that the student lives in, with the suspect inside the house as the victim entered.
On April 27, 2012 the Tufts University Police received a call regarding an incident that occurred immediately adjacent to campus, on Capen Street, which runs off of Winthrop Street in Medford, Ma.
The Tufts Department of Public and Environmental Safety would like to bring to your attention two recent accidents involving University community members and motor vehicle operators that have occurred on city streets adjacent to campus. On January 12, 2012, the Somerville Police Department notified Tufts University Police of an incident that occurred immediately adjacent to campus, on Conwell Avenue, which runs off of Curtis Street in Somerville.
On September 18, 2011 at approximately 2:12 am, a male came into the Police Station to report to Tufts Police he had just been the victim of an assault and battery.
