Mass Accreditation Seal

The Massachusetts Police Accreditation Commission awarded accreditation status to the Tufts University Police Department on June 17, 2005 . The department was re-accredited on January 8, 2009 and most recently on September 29, 2011. The commission voted to make Tufts the eighteenth department in the commonwealth to achieve this prestigious recognition. Tufts remains one of only eight Massachusetts campus law enforcement agencies that are accredited.
