Exempt Animal or Human Specimens Shipping Training

Animal or human specimens that do not contain infectious agents or are unlikely to contain infectious agents based on knowledge of the source are not subject to all aspects of the dangerous goods shipping regulations.

If you are going to package Exempt Human Specimens and Exempt Animal Specimens, you must follow the training certification requirements outlined below.

2. Click Here to complete the Exempt Animal or Human Specimens Shipping Training test. A member of Tufts EHS will review this form, and, upon successful completion, will certify you to ship dry ice.

A passing score of 100% is required. A Certificate of Training will be sent to you if the test was passed. Shipping regulations change frequently, so it is necessary to renew your certification every two years.
