Drinking Water

Tufts University’s drinking water is supplied by our host municipalities. On the Boston and Medford/Somerville Campuses, water is purchased by the municipality from the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority where it is sourced from the Quabbin and Wachusett Reservoirs west of Boston. On the Grafton campus, water is supplied by the Grafton Water District from ground water wells in Grafton.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency requires public drinking water system operators to publish an annual report on drinking water quality. Links to reports for each of Tufts host communities can be found below:
