Welcome to the Tufts University Department of Public & Environmental Safety. The development of this home page was the collective effort of many members of our staff. I am grateful for their contributions.

Our department consists of several organizations responsible for safety, security and loss prevention on the three campuses of Tufts University. Among these are the Tufts University Police Department, Office of Environmental Health & Safety, the Office of Insurance & Risk Management, and Tufts Emergency Medical Services (TEMS).

I would also like to introduce you to Public Safety Administrative Services, encompassing parking and traffic services, shuttle services, photo ID cards, access systems and police detail scheduling.
