The Department of Public Safety has responsibility for administrative locks and keys (excluding residence hall locks and keys).
Access Systems services available include:
- Request new keys
- Request a lock change and key re-issuance
- Manage card access privileges
- Fingerprint scan access
All of these services may be requested using the Access Request Form (pdf). You may complete the form on your computer screen, but it must be printed and signed. The completed form should be mailed to the University Police on your respective campus, where the station commander will review all access requests.
Card access requests can normally be completed without any participation on the part of the end-user.
Key requests will be filled by the locksmith or key contractor and the intended recipient will be notified to come to the University Police station to pickup their key(s) and sign the receipt form.
