JumboFob is a state-of-the-art residence hall access system piloted in South Hall on the Medford/Somerville campus in the 2001-2002 academic year. The JumboFob system replaces the exterior door key with a key fob (pictured at right) for electronic access. Thirteen residence halls have been added to the JumboFob system since the South Hall pilot. Input from a survey of South Hall residents contributed to system design in these new facilities.
