Winter Break Parking Pass Available Now

The Department of Public Safety is pleased to offer the use of
the Dowling Hall Garage to students who wish to leave their vehicles
on campus during winter break. For students who currently have parking
permits that expire Aug 31, 2014, there will be no charge for this service. For
students who do not have a valid parking permit or have one that expires
Dec 31, 2013, the charge for this service will be $50. Currently payment
options are:

  1. During business hours; cash, check JumboCash, Visa or Master Card
  2. During non-business hours; cash or check.

The winter break parking passes are available at
Public Safety on the ground floor of Dowling Hall.  Students may begin
parking in the garage on or after Dec 10, 2013.  Vehicles left
overnight in the Dowling Hall Garage without displaying the winter break
parking pass will be subject to ticketing and/or towing.

All vehicles utilizing winter break parking passes are
required to depart the parking garage before 9am on  Friday, Jan 17, 2014.
Vehicles that exit the garage after that time will be subject to regular
parking rates. When picking up your vehicle upon returning to campus,
please return your winter break parking pass to Public Safety in order to
receive a garage token to exit the garage.

In order to accommodate the parking needs of employees and
visitors during the winter break, the winter break parking passes will be
limited to 150 vehicles.

The Department of Public Safety wishes all members of our
community a safe, healthy and joyous holiday season.

Please Note: the Lower Campus parking garage will be closed
and parking overnight will not be allowed in the Cousens parking
lot during winter break. We request that the owners of vehicles
normally parked overnight in these locations acquire a winter break
parking pass and leave their vehicles in the Dowling Hall Garage.
